Cancellation Policy

Bookings * Meal prep sessions are personalised and require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. * Your booking is confirmed once payment (or deposit, where applicable) has been received. * New clients are required to complete the booking questionnaire before their session. * Menu selections should be finalised before your shopping list is prepared. Changes requested within 48 hours of your appointment may not be possible. Shopping * Clients are welcome to complete their own grocery shopping using the shopping list provided. * A Personal Shopping add-on is available for clients who would prefer My Personal Chef to purchase ingredients on their behalf. * Grocery costs are charged separately from the meal prep service. Payment * Payment is due before your scheduled appointment unless otherwise agreed. * Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayID or invoice (credit card payment available where available). * Prices are subject to change but confirmed bookings will always be honoured at the quoted rate. * GST: All prices are quoted exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. GST is charged at the applicable rate on the total invoice amount. Cancellations & Rescheduling * More than 48 hours’ notice: appointments may be rescheduled or refunded. * Less than 48 hours’ notice: cancellations may incur a cancellation fee, as planning time has already been invested. * If groceries have already been purchased on your behalf, those costs remain payable. Food Safety * Meals are prepared in your own kitchen using ingredients supplied by you or purchased on your behalf. * Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements before your appointment. * While every care is taken, My Personal Chef cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Storage * Meals should be refrigerated or frozen as advised after preparation. * Storage instructions and reheating recommendations will be provided where appropriate. * Once the session has concluded, responsibility for safe storage of food rests with the client. Access * Clients are responsible for providing access to the kitchen and ensuring appliances are in safe working order. * A clear workspace, running water and electricity are required for the service.
