What are the customers' obligations when booking a personal chef service?

Customers are required to provide information on dietary restrictions, chosen menu options, and the number of meals when booking a personal chef service. Additionally, customers need to secure the necessary ingredients for cooking  and ensure a clean cooking space for the chef.

Do the prices for personal chef services include the cost of ingredients?

Accepted Answer

The pricing for personal chef services does not include the cost of ingredients. You can purchase our Personal Shopper service and all the ingredients are going to be purchased, and the cost will be invoiced to you up to 48 hours prior your appointment and needs to be paid promptly. Alternatively, an ingredient list will be emailed to you free of charge 48 hours prior to your Chef’s arrival and all the ingredients must be purchased by you.

What is the typical duration of a personal chef service?

The duration of a personal chef service can vary depending on the number of meals, complexity of dishes, different environments or other unforeseen circumstances. On average, a personal chef service will last between 3 to 5 hours.

Can I cancel my appointment and get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel your appointment up to 72 hours in advance to get a full refund. Or alternatively you can rebook it for a more suitable date.

I live outside of Geelong area. Does my Personal Chef still service me?

Accepted Answer

My Personal Chef cover all Geelong Area free of extra charge, or alternatively we can travel up to 30km outside Geelong Area for an additional travelling fee. Please note that unfortunately I am not able to attend areas beyond 30km from Geelong at this time. I apologise for the inconvenience.

Does my Personal Chef provide events or small gatherings catering services?

My Personal Chef can provide catering services depending on the size of the event and special circumstances. Please contact me if you are interested in catering services.

Can I choose my own menu or can My Personal Chef prepare my meal plan?
